It’s a little known fact outside of Peru, but the ubiquitous Peruvian national drink, the PIsco Sour, actually has its very own “day” – the first weekend of February – and Pisco is celebrated for the entire month. Peruvian Chef Alejandro Saravia of Morena in Surry Hills launches its new terrace and bar, the Morena Terraz in February. Australia’s first Pisco bar – the Alma Morena within Morena restaurant - infuses Pisco on the premises to create a variety of flavours, not least the amazing Pisco with Coca leaves. February will see the launch of the Sundowner Menu with a complimentary Pisco Sundowner cocktail on Sunday, Tuesdays and Wednesday evenings and will Morena will host a special Pisco Appreciation Class on February 22nd. The INNOXA Colour launch was held on April 22nd at the fabulous Diamant Hotel in Darlinghurst. Beauty editors were briefed in small groups about the beautiful new range of eye colours, mineral poweder and 16 hour foundation and a team of "real life" models in their 30s 40s and 50s demonstrated the new colour makeup with the expertise of our makeup artist for the day, freelance beauty editor and hair/makeup artist, Naomi Jackson.
